Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Straight Bourbon Manhattan
- 2 oz. Whistling Andy Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
- 2 Dashes Bitters (feel free to play here)
- Brandied Cherry
Pour all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass and stir. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with cherry.
Builder's Sour
- 1 1/2 oz. Whistling Andy Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz. Fresh Pineapple Juice
- 3/4 oz. Maple Syrup
- 3-4 Dashes Bitters
- Lemon Peel and Pineapple Wedge for garnish.
Add all ingredients except bitters to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until tin frosts, strain over fresh ice in a double old fashioned glass. Garnish with lemon peel and pineapple slice.
Bourbon Cobbler
- 2 oz. Whistling Andy Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 2 Fresh Pineapple Wedges
- 2 Orange Slices
- 2 Lemon Wedges
- 3/4 oz. Orange Curacao
In the bottom of a cocktail shaker muddle 1 pineapple wedge, 1 piece of orange, 1 piece of lemon, the orange curacao and 1 oz. water. Add bourbon and ice, shake until tin frosts, strain over fresh ice into a double old fashioned glass. Garnish with remaining fruit.
Revolver
- 2 oz. Whistling Andy Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1/2 oz. Coffee Liquor
- 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
- Orange Peel for garnish
Combine bourbon, coffee liquor and orange bitters in a mixing glass. Ad ice, stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a flamed orange peel.
Mint Julep
- 2 oz. Whistling Andy Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 10 Sprigs Fresh Mint
- 1 Tbsp. Simple Syrup
Muddle the mint leaves in the bottom of a julep cup or double old fashioned glass with the simple syrup. Add bourbon and stir to combine. Slowly ass crushed ice while stirring until there is a mound of ice on top of the glass. Add straw and mint sprig for garnish.
